Manchester United are looking to speed up plans to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho during the summer transfer window.

United has been keen on signing the England international for some dating back to last summer where the links were intense.

Sancho, who was almost on the brink of joining the Red Devils had a difficult start to the 2020/21 season but the youngster has rediscovered his best form along the line, contributing to 30 goals across all competitions for the Black and Yellow lads.

Having failed to sign the player 12 months ago, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are willing to approach the player once again and secure his signature before the start of next season.

BILD reports that the Premier League side are looking to secure a deal before Sancho teams up with the national team at the Euros next month.

Dortmund have reportedly lowered their asking price for the attacker and are willing to accept an offer of €80 million instead of the initial €120 million they were demanding last summer.

Man United will attach seriousness to their pursuit of the winger after getting forward Edinson Cavani to put pen to paper on a new contract extension at the club, which means they have enough time to turn their attention to other targets including Sancho.

Borussia Dortmund would also appreciate an early deal to help them beat the time to get a replacement for the England star.
