Borussia Dortmund transfer talks with Birmingham City star, Jude Bellingham started few weeks before the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. The football sector has had a big economic blow as a result of the hit by coronavirus with almost all activities stalled.
Among the teams that have shown direct interest on the Birmingham City player are Manchester united and Chelsea. A price tag of £30 has been place on the England youth international.
Report shows that Chelsea had held talks with the English footballer representatives over his anticipated move to Stamford Bridge, this was moments before the lock down.
Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea and Manchester United are currently locked in a chase for the 16-year-old midfielder.
While addressing the mirror, Bellingham former coach Sam Manoochehri said “I have got no doubt in my mind that Jude will play in the Champions League and he will represent England at senior level.”
He added: “Manchester United, it might be a nice fit for Jude, with a rejuvenated team, and talk of Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish going over there. But Dortmund would also suit. The recent profile of players that have come through that system, the likes of Jadon Sancho. Jude would fit that mold, too.”
