Dan-Axel Zagadou’s time at the Bad Ragaz training camp in Switzerland has come to an end owing to concerns on his knee. The defender played in the second half of the game against SC Altach and looked to be back to his best. However, the club confirmed through their twitter that he will no longer take part in training in Switzerland.

The tweet read, Dan-Axel Zagadou has knee problems. Unfortunately, he will no longer be able to train with the team in Switzerland. Get well soon!” We hope that the injury period is not too long. Zagadou is a massive prospect for the future and will be crucial to Dortmund’s title chase for the 2020/21 season.

The Frenchman enjoyed a fine spell of games in the previous season until a knee injury ruled him out for 7 games. He returned for the last 2 games of the season, and the black and yellow army were ecstatic.

In other news, Erling Haaland missed a training session earlier today owing to a sore throat. He should be back for tomorrow’s training sessions as confirmed by the team’s official twitter handle.

The tweet read, “Erling Haaland does not train today because of a slight sore throat. We assume that he can be there again tomorrow.”

In brighter news, Mats Hummels has nearly completed his recovery from the foot injury he picked up on vacation. Hummels said, “I’m completely on schedule. I was able to do what I wanted every day.” For now, let’s keep our fingers crossed for Zagadou and hope that there are no severe complications to his knee.
