Borussia Dortmund will take part in the Cup of Traditions on Saturday, the 22nd of August. The tournament will take place in Duisburg. The 3 teams taking part are Borussia Dortmund, MSV Duisburg, and Feyenoord Rotterdam. It will be in the league format, with each team facing each other once. The one coming out with the highest points from the games will return with the trophy.
Each game will be 60 minutes long with 30-minute halves.

Dortmund will take on Duisburg again in the first round of the DFB Cup on the 14th of September. The Traditional Duisburg company’s Executive Director of Tourism said, “The fact that Borussia Dortmund and MSV meet in the DFB Cup only a short time later will of course bring an additional dynamic to this top tournament between traditional clubs. However, both clubs said immediately after the draw that they still wanted to play against each other in the Traditions Cup.”
